Lovelies in the garden...

I wanted to share some of the blooms that I'm enjoying in the garden right now. I love when the the monarda blooms and the butterflies are coming to the garden in droves. They love it, and the centranthus. I love the many roses blooming now and the lilies and daylilies. Everything smells so good. I enjoy being out working in the garden because the smells are intoxicating right now. Soon my allergies will make it uncomfortable to be out in the garden, but not so much that I would even consider giving it up. Right now the colors and textures in the garden are beautiful, so I thought I would share some with you today.
My husband and Landon and I finally got to go on our little vacation. It was postponed a while because the fuel pump went out on my truck (that is what we pull our camp trailer with). Then remember when I told you that my husband also does security for a celebrity family that have a home in Hailey? Well, they decided to make an unplanned trip home to enjoy some of the beauty their property in Idaho has to offer and so Dale was called in to work extra days of his vacation from the sheriff's office to work security for the family. We shortened our planned road trip to three days. (bummer) We just got home this afternoon. I'm so pooped I can hardly think to post this. I'm sure it is apparent in my uninspired writing tonight. It was a wonderful trip to a music festival at a town in the heart of Idaho. Our daughter was part of the line-up of bands playing in the festival and so we got to enjoy the beauty of this lovely part of Idaho and hear our girl sing. We never tire of hearing her perform. I think I'll post some pictures of the country we saw and some of her band at the festival in a couple of days if you'll indulge me.
It's always great to be home, I have a lot of catching up to do.

Your flowers are beautiful Junebug!!! I love the deep raspberry colors. My rose bush that I have been tendering is giving me buds galore. I really thought she was spent for the summer but I have a dozen either buds or open roses on her now. It's so exciting.

Tell me, with angel syndrome... where is the best place to learn inforamtion on it. I don't know anything about it sadly other than a snippet I read.

Any vacation for a cop is a good vacation. It gets them away from the strees of the job it's a good thing.

Must be lovely, to have butterflies flying about.

Look forward to seeing some holiday snaps of the Country, when you are able.

Your gardens are a pasture for my soul. Think me silly, but just today I spent some time in my own back yard (not an acre or more...just a YARD!) dreaming about how it just might look one day...

I want it to look JUST LIKE YOURS!

Your flowers are all very soothing. I understand your delema with a husband and his work. We have a little vacation planed for a few days, with our whole family. The big part is that their father is coming. This is not attached to a conference or CLE credits, just him. First time in 5 years.

Tell your hubby, thank you for being in the serves of people. Thank you for supporting him.

I'm excited to see your pictures.

Dear June,

Your garden is so beautiful and sounds wonderful! I can only imagine how amazing it is in person. I hope your allergies don't flare up too badly!

I am so glad you three had a nice trip, but sorry to hear it was shortened. I hope you are rested and will share the photos soon. I would love to see them and your lovely daughter.

Home is a wonderful place to be! I am even thrilled to get back home after we spend the day in town shopping! :)

Love and hugs,
Paula

Oh June, your flowers are beautiful but I'm certainly begging you to post about your Daughter, her band, her singing talents and the Festival! How exciting!
However, I'm getting a little intimidated by you. I thought you were just a country girl but as my stalking continues, I see you are much more than that. Having a husband that works for famous people AND having a daughter in a band makes you a FAMOUS Mom and Wife.
Does little ole me still rate in your famous world? ;)

ps...welcome home!

Lovely pictures June- I am glad you were able to get away if only for a few days- We have always been self employed and 3-4 days were are that we could take off from our business- don't know what I would do if we had a week of relaxation! My sis went to Hawaii for 3 weeks- I do think I could handle that one!!

A little birdie told me you won a great giveaway!! Congratulations!

Glad your trip was fun (even if it was shorter than planned). I look forward to seeing the pictures of the festival!

As for your gardens-they are so lovely:). It always amazes me how things bloom at different times in different places. Our daylillies are done for the season so it was nice to see new blooms in your garden:).

Good Morning June!

I'm so glad you finally got to zip off on your vacation. Don't we all need one of those? That's just crummy that it had to be cut short. Darn it.

I wish you could put a recording of your daughter singing on your blog so we could hear her! Wouldn't that be lovely?

Your flowers are just yummy......I do love me some good posies!

Have a wonderful week!
